Regina Campa is a Class of 2026 student-athlete committed to Gardner-Webb University, where she will continue her soccer career at the NCAA Division I level. She is the first female soccer player from Calhoun High School to commit to a Division I program since 2010.
Regina began her soccer journey in 2015 with the Calhoun Recreation Department. A year later, she joined the Cyclones Club, marking the start of her formal development in the sport. For the 2017–2018 season, she competed with Rome Georgia Arsenal Club.
From 2018 to 2024, Regina played with the Northwest Soccer Academy (NSA) Belles in Dalton, Georgia, competing in the USYS National League Piedmont Conference. In the summer of 2024, she advanced to the Development Player League (DPL) with Georgia Impact. At the same time, she joined Chattanooga FC Academy to compete in the USYS National League Mid South Conference.
Since 2021, Regina has been a member of the Georgia Olympic Development Program (ODP). She has been selected multiple times to attend the South Region Invitational ID Camp and continues to participate in the program.
Regina began school soccer in sixth grade and played two varsity seasons for Calhoun High School. In 2025, she stepped away from high school soccer to pursue a more competitive development pathway with Chattanooga FC in the National League and the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL).
The first half of 2025 marked a major milestone in Regina’s career. With Chattanooga FC Academy, she helped the club reach the USYS National Semifinals. Following the academy season, she gained her first semi-professional experience with Chattanooga FC Women in the WPSL. During the summer campaign, she helped the team become WPSL South Region Champions and advance to the WPSL National Final Four, finishing among the top four teams in the country.
That summer, Regina temporarily relocated to Valencia, Spain, to challenge herself in a European training environment with Spain Rush Academy and Mislata CF. Over two months, she trained under UEFA-licensed coaches and competed in preseason matches with Mislata. She was honored with an invitation to remain with the club for the 2025–2026 season. After careful consideration, she chose to return to the United States to continue her development with Chattanooga FC and prepare for her future collegiate career.
For the Fall 2025 season, Regina returned to Chattanooga FC Academy, competing once again in the DPL and continuing her pursuit of high-level development against some of the top youth competition in the country.
In February 2026, Regina received an invitation to rejoin Chattanooga FC Women for her second WPSL season with the club. In March, she returned to Spain for a training stint with Olympia Las Rozas CF before joining Canadian club Venus FC for a European tour. During the trip, she trained and competed in friendly matches against professional clubs in Madrid, Barcelona, and Valencia, further expanding her international playing experience.
Regina’s 2026 season combined elite domestic competition, semi-professional experience, and international training opportunities, helping prepare her for the transition to NCAA Division I soccer at Gardner-Webb University.
Regina is a versatile and dynamic attacking player who excels in multiple positions. While her primary role is Right Wing, she is also capable of playing Left Wing, Center Forward, Attacking Midfielder, and Wing Back. Her combination of pace, technical ability, tactical awareness, and work rate allows her to contribute in a variety of systems and roles.
