My name is Regina Campa, and I am a Class of 2026 student-athlete committed to Gardner-Webb University, where I will continue my soccer career at the NCAA Division I level. I am proud to be the first female soccer player from Calhoun High School to commit to a Division I soccer program since 2010.
I am a versatile attacking player who primarily plays as a Right Wing and Forward. I enjoy creating scoring opportunities, attacking defenders in 1-v-1 situations, and using my speed and technical ability to impact the game in both goal-scoring and playmaking roles.
Since beginning my soccer journey in 2015, I have worked to continuously challenge myself by competing at increasingly higher levels. Today, I compete with Chattanooga FC Academy and Chattanooga FC Women, where I have gained experience in the Development Player League (DPL), USYS National League, and the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL). In 2025, I helped Chattanooga FC Women win the WPSL South Region Championship and advance to the WPSL National Final Four.
One of the most valuable experiences of my career has been training and competing internationally in Spain. I spent time training with Spain Rush Academy, Mislata CF, and Olympia Las Rozas CF, while also competing in friendly matches against professional clubs in Madrid, Barcelona, and Valencia. These experiences helped me grow both as a player and as a person by exposing me to different styles of play, coaching philosophies, and cultures.
On the field, I pride myself on my work ethic, speed, technical ability, and understanding of the game. I enjoy taking players on in 1-v-1 situations, creating scoring opportunities, and contributing both goals and assists. I am comfortable using either foot and work hard to make smart decisions under pressure.
Off the field, I value discipline, accountability, and teamwork. I believe that strong relationships create strong teams, and I strive to be a positive teammate and leader. Academically, I challenge myself through honors and dual-enrollment coursework and plan to pursue a degree in Psychology while continuing my athletic career.
As a dual citizen of the United States and Mexico, I am proud of both sides of my heritage and grateful for the opportunities soccer has provided. My goal is to continue developing at the highest levels possible, contribute to every team I represent, and pursue opportunities to play professionally in the future.
Every step of my journey has been driven by a passion for the game and a commitment to continuous improvement. I am excited for the next chapter at Gardner-Webb University and for the opportunities that lie ahead.
